The Breakfast and Babies group at Keynsham Community Hub has received renewed funding from The National Lottery Community Fund, meaning this much-loved group can continue supporting local mums and their babies.
Since launching in April 2024, the group has welcomed dozens of new mums, providing a warm, friendly space to meet others, share experiences and enjoy a cup of tea and breakfast while the little ones make their first friends too. ❤️
To celebrate the funding award, the group we a special event where we welcomed back mums who have attended the group over the past two years for a special celebration.
Natalie Condick, who runs the group with her mum Sandra, said:
"We wanted to create a place where mums of newborns could feel supported and know they weren't alone. It's been wonderful to see friendships grow and many mums continue to meet long after they've left the group."
One mum told us:
"Thank you for creating such a warm and welcoming space for new mums and babies. Thank you for the tea, pastries and all your support. We'll really miss coming each week."
