🏆We’re absolutely delighted be be one of the partners in the formation of the Family Links Project and we've been awarded the Highland Collaboration Award at the Highland Third Sector Interface Awards 2026! 🥳

A fantastic partnership with Thriving Families and Care and Learning Alliance.

Way to go team!!! 🙌

Family Links have been awarded the Highland Collaboration Award! Thriving Families, CALA and Home Start East Highland delivered holistic support to those within the Inverness High School catchment area, working with young people and families to empower them and provide support. The project in its 18 months has created meaningful change.

🏖️🏖️🏖️ BEACH DAYS ARE THE BEST 🏖️🏖️🏖️

So much fun and games were had at Rosemarkie Beach during the summer holidays with our families from our Easter Ross side 😍

The sun was out, the toes were sandy and the bellies were full after some lovely sandwiches from Rosemarkie Amenities Association & Beach Cafe 😊 All in all a great day for everyone 💖

Thank you to all that came along and a special shout out to our volunteers who gave their time to help out 🥰

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Family Links Lead, based on Skye to join our team at Home-Start East Highland

This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a small team, build strong partnerships with schools and community organisations, and provide holistic support to families across Skye.

💜 £36,261 FTE
🧡 35 hours per week
💜 Hybrid working
🧡 25 days annual leave + 13 statutory holidays
💜 Company pension
🧡 12-month contract, with extension subject to funding
💜 Driving licence and use of own vehicle required

You’ll be joining a friendly, committed team working to make a real difference to the lives of children and families across Highland.

It was a visit to the Highland Wildlife Park with our families from the Inverness side the other week, and what a roar some time was had 🦁

Meeting the animals, playing in the park and a little spot of lunch was provided, made for a lovely day ☀️🥰

Shoutout to the following:

🚌 D&E Coaches Inverness for getting us there and back safely

🐯 and the collaboration of the Highland Wildlife Park, Royal Zoological Society of Scotland (RZSS) and the Cairngorm National Park for coming together and making this trip possible for us

Pefferside Park in Dingwall was the place to be last Wednesday! 🤩😎

A few hours filled with fun, laughter, and quality time made for lots of happy children and smiling families 🥰

It was so lovely to see everyone enjoying themselves, making memories, and spending time together. Thank you to everyone who came along 💖
