Rescue gets harder and harder every year - there are so many dogs needing spaces and so many humans still over breeding, then expecting members of the public to pick up the pieces - often wrapped up as “retirement “. Too many people no longer have the coping mechanism, to deal with the responsibility of dog ownership, and choose to return a dog like a Amazon parcel after putting no effort in. Or refusing to follow advice.
All rescues put up with so much abuse - yet we just crack on. However, this dog has made our blood boil. The council no longer have sufficient funds to run the dog warden service the way they want to - but no one seems to stop the large scale abuse of lurcher type dogs - a practice costing the tax payer each time a dog is picked up.
Susie is the sweetest most adorable dog - yet look at the state of her. Her scarred face and damaged mouth tells you all you need to know about her past life and past owners. Yet she lived that life for 3 or 4 years until she managed to be dumped. How can she love people as much as she does? She is at her happiest cuddled into you on the sofa❤️
She is a local girl - so this abuse happened in our area.
Susie would probably be best as an only dog so she can your undivided attention although she currently lives with Frank.❤️
