Peach has heard all about the cheese tax and would like everyone to know she fully supports it!

Do you remember Blondie's "Is That Comfortable?" pose? 😂

Well, here's Gnawer Pawrice's version... camper van edition!

We have absolutely no idea how he finds this comfortable, but he seems perfectly happy with his choice of sleeping position.

Bay here… reporting from foster life – what I’ve learnt 🐾

❤ Sofa expert (used to roll off, that’s not dwell on that😌)
❤ Apple slice enthusiast
❤ Calm on my own… but will absolutely check your shopping bag when you return👀
❤ Happy in my flat, some houses have stairs that’s ok too!
❤Walks long or short, anytime. Just like to be walking with you!
❤ I answer to ‘Bay’, ‘Bay Bay’, and especially ‘Good Boy’ (my favourite!)
❤ Busy London traffic I just take that in my long stride

Heat Warning ⚠️

The next few days are forecast to be extremely hot, with temperatures expected to exceed 35°C and potentially reach 38°C in some areas.

Whilst many of us will be counting down the days until temperatures return to something a little more comfortable, it's important to remember the risks that this kind of heat poses to our dogs.

🐾 Walk early in the morning or later in the evening
🐾 Always carry fresh water
🐾 Provide plenty of shade and cool places to rest
🐾 Never leave a dog in a vehicle, even for a few minutes
🐾 Remember that pavements and artificial grass can become dangerously hot

Greyhounds and lurchers can be particularly vulnerable to extreme temperatures, so please don't feel guilty about swapping a walk for a day of sofa snoozing, paddling pools, frozen treats, and garden time.

A missed walk is far safer than a dog suffering from heatstroke.

Stay safe, stay cool!

We cannot stop advertising and promoting our lovey dogs just because the temperature rises - so can we just respectfully remind everyone that just because it’s hot when you are reading the post - the post is not in real time. All of our posts are scheduled so there is no need to post saying the dog should not be out in the heat - we know and they are not.

When are you going to finish work? Princess Rosalina would like to know! 😂

She's spent most of the day perfecting the art of snoozing, supervising from a comfy spot, and conserving her energy...

Now she's ready for the important part of the day — snuggles! 🥰

After all, Princess Rosalina firmly believes that cuddles should always take priority over work.

Pippin foster update 🐾

He loves sniffy games, responds really well to training, and has even been practising recall in the garden. He walks well on the lead, loves his food, and will do just about anything for a treat!

Pippin is always happy to see you and has the waggiest welcome, but he has also been left alone without showing separation anxiety.

His foster family say he chatters all the time — the little things make him so happy, whether that’s being brushed, having his face wiped, or getting some fuss.

He loves a comfy bed or sofa, roaches constantly when he sleeps, and in the mornings he rests his chin flat on the bed, waiting politely for head strokes.

He’s also a very good boy with house rules. He knows he’s only allowed on the bed with permission, so his foster family get morning cuddles without any night-time intrusions. Clever Pippin!

He doesn’t need huge walks and is quite happy with one or two 20–30 minute strolls a day. He also loves people, both out and about and at home.
