Celebrating our history, culture and achievements.
This is a wonderful opportunity to bring our communities together, celebrate diversity, learn from one another and enjoy the rich cultures that make our communities so special.

Thank You to the Incredible Claire Paxman 💗
The Lipstick Project UK would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Claire Paxman for taking time out of her busy schedule to join us as our special guest at our Pink Chai Breast Cancer Awareness and Support Event.
Claire is such an incredible, genuine and compassionate lady, and it was a privilege to welcome her to our event. Her words touched our hearts as she spoke so passionately and lovingly about her mother, whose experience with cancer inspired the development of the Paxman Scalp Cooling Cap.
Hearing the personal story behind this remarkable innovation was truly moving. It reminded us that behind every innovation, there can be a deeply personal journey, a family's love and a determination to make a difference to the lives of others facing cancer.
Claire spoke with such warmth, honesty and passion. Her willingness to share her mother's story brought a very personal and meaningful perspective to our event, highlighting the importance of compassion, support, dignity and hope throughout the cancer journey. 💗
The Lipstick Project UK, believes that bringing people together, sharing experiences, Claire's presence and contribution embodied everything our Pink Chai event was about.
Claire, thank you for your time, your kindness, your openness and for supporting our community. We are truly grateful that you chose to spend part of your busy schedule with us and help make the day so special.

A Huge Thank You to Amanda Pinnock and the Hudawi Cultural Centre for the incredible help, kindness and support in organising our Breast Cancer Awareness Event. Amanda, your support, encouragement and dedication have meant so much to me. Bringing an event like this together takes a lot of time, effort and teamwork, and I am truly grateful for everything you have done to help make the day so special. 💕
A massive thank you also goes to Hudawi Cultural Centre for generously providing the venue and welcoming us with such warmth. The staff were absolutely amazing, going above and beyond to support the event and help everything run smoothly. It was wonderful to bring organisations and the community together to raise awareness, share information, offer support and remind everyone that breast cancer affects everyone not just the person diagnosed, but their families, friends and loved ones too.
I would also like to give a very special thank you to the LS2Y Community staff for all their incredible support. You were the backbone of this event, LS2Y Nurseries helping with the children’s activities, LS2Y setting out the food and making the delicious pink tea. To everyone who drank the pink tea and complimented it, please know that it was made by the amazing LS2Y staff. Your hard work and support helped make the event so special 🩷

It was an absolute pleasure to welcome the incredible team from Pennine Domestic Abuse Partnership to our Breast Cancer Awareness Event at the Hudawi Cultural Centre. Thank you for being part of such an important day and for taking the time to share valuable information, raise awareness, and ensure that people knew where to turn for support. Your team was fantastic, approachable and compassionate, helping to make vital information accessible to everyone who attended.
Domestic abuse can affect anyone, and raising awareness, breaking the silence and helping people access the right support can make a life-changing difference.💗
