Nuthurst Parish Carbon Busters We are a local group formed with the aim of reducing the tonnage of carbon emissions created within our Parish.

This project was created by the Link Magazine and the Parish Community Group. We hope that through collective individual and community action we can make a big difference in our local area. Seeking local homeowners to share real retrofit stories – Thu 22 Oct, 7–9pm, Manning’s Heath Cricket Pavilion"

Have you installed any of the following?

Solar PV and/or battery storage

Heat pump (air or ground source)

Insulation upgrades (loft, cavity, solid wall, floors)

EV charger or smart home energy integrations

Carbon Busters is running a practical, no-sales, community event: “Over the Threshold – Real Retrofit Stories.” We’ll have topic stations, a short welcome at 7:05pm, and then free-flow conversations so neighbours can ask real questions and learn from real homes—what worked well, what to avoid, and “what I wish I’d known.”

How you can help:

Volunteer as a homeowner “sharer” for 10–15 mins at a station (we provide a simple crib sheet).

Or just come along to listen, learn, and chat
