Another year and another fabulous Hornsea Carnival!! This year the theme was ‘Hero’s and Villain’s’, we decided to go with a Land Army theme as they were the hero’s in the war. We won 3rd Place - Best Dressed đŸ„‰ đŸ™ŒđŸ». A big well done to everyone involved in this years float đŸ‘đŸ»

Today it’s carnival day! Hornsea Carnival
The floats leave the secondary school at 12:30pm. This year the theme is ‘Hero’s and Villains’, I wonder what our fabulous Hornsea WI are going as 🧐? You’ll have to line the route and see, make sure to give us a wave and a cheer as we pass đŸ‘‹đŸ»

On Monday night (13th July) at 7:30pm, we look forward to welcoming Herbalist Georgina Pugh. Georgina is a member of the National Institue of Medical Herbalists, continuing a rich tradition of using plants as medicine, to treat and to heal a wide range of conditions and complaints, such as skin issues, inflammatory conditions, digestive dysfunction, hormonal imbalances, pregnancy and postpartum concerns, and much, much more.

Hornsea WI meet every second Monday of the month at Hornsea Methodist Church. Visitors are very welcome to come along and see if the WI is for them. We have a varied programme of speakers and activities alongside social events including wine evenings, curry nights, and an annual trip to the theatre. There is always plenty to look forward to! And of course, it wouldn’t be the WI without cake 🍰!

Don’t forget tonight’s meeting!
Arrive from 7:15pm for a 7:30pm start at Hornsea Methodist Church. Tonight we welcome Esther in the Garden who will be creating a floral display.
It wouldn’t be a WI meeting without cake! Tea/coffee and delicious homemade cake available during the break. We welcome visitors to come and try out this friendly group and see if it’s for you, only £6 🍰 💐
