I honestly don’t know where to begin.

Today, the Rainbow Promise family completely caught me off guard and surprised me with the most beautiful celebration. To say I was shocked would be an understatement!

I genuinely wasn’t expecting any of it, and I’m still overwhelmed by the love, kindness, generosity, and thought that went into today. From the decorations, gifts, cards, messages, and most importantly, seeing the ladies come together, it meant more to me than I can put into words.

Rainbow Promise has never just been about houses, projects, recovery, or outreach. It’s always been about people, relationships, and family. Today was a reminder of just how special this community really is.

Thank you to every resident, staff member, volunteer, supporter, friend, and family member who played a part in today. Thank you for making me feel so loved and appreciated.

I will treasure the memories from today for a very long time. My heart is truly full. ❤️🌈

Due to unforeseen circumstances and a family emergency, we have had to make the very difficult decision to cancel tomorrow’s Newcastle Outreach.

We are wholeheartedly committed to our outreaches and never take cancelling an event lightly. Outreach is at the very heart of what we do, and we know how important these events are to those we serve and to those who faithfully support them.

Unfortunately, on this occasion, we have no other option but to cancel. After much prayer and careful consideration, we feel that right now our place is with our children as we navigate a sad and difficult time as a family.

We sincerely apologise to anybody who was planning on attending, supporting, or had made arrangements to travel. We understand this may cause disappointment, and for that we are truly sorry.

Thank you for your understanding, kindness, and prayers during this time.

Our next outreach is already being planned and will be announced very soon.

Much love,

Rainbow Promise North East & Yorkshire CIC 🌈❤️

💙 REVIVED TUESDAY 💙

Today at Revived Tuesday we looked at the powerful topic:

✨ New Beginnings Require Necessary Endings ✨

Sometimes God cannot bring us into the new while we’re still holding onto the old. Growth often requires letting go, closing chapters, breaking unhealthy cycles, and trusting God with what comes next.

The engagement in the room today was incredible. Everyone was fully involved, eager to learn, and willing to reflect on what changes they need to make to move forward in their recovery, faith, and personal journeys.

It was also such a blessing to welcome some of our former residents back in and Seeing familiar faces, hearing their progress, and catching up with them reminded us why we do what we do🙏🥰

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to today’s service and all the ladies and men who volunteer and cook.
Today the food by one of our ladies was unreal! We are proud of every step forward, no matter how big or small❤️

💙🙏 What a truly special day for Rainbow Promise! 🙏💙

Today we had the absolute privilege of witnessing several people publicly declare their faith through baptism, including four of our very own Rainbow Promise residents.

To the four people from Rainbow Promise who took this incredible step today – we are so proud of you.

It is an honour to walk alongside you on your journey, to witness the healing, growth, and transformation taking place in your lives, and to see your commitment to pursuing a better life with God at the centre of it all.

Baptism is so much more than going under the water. It is a declaration of faith, a symbol of leaving the old behind and stepping into the new life that Christ offers. Today you stood boldly and publicly declared your decision to follow Jesus, and we couldn’t be more proud.

At Rainbow Promise, we are privileged to see lives restored every day. We celebrate not only recovery, but people discovering their true identity, purpose, and hope in Christ.

Today was a beautiful reminder that God is still changing lives, still healing hearts, and still setting people free.

Please join us in congratulating our four Rainbow Promise residents on this special milestone in their faith journey. We are excited to continue walking alongside them and seeing all that God has planned for their future.

“For we were therefore buried with Him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.” – Romans 6:4

❤️ What a day. What a testimony. What a God.
