Holsworthy Youth Club New Page At Holsworthy Youth club we provide a safe place where young people can meet during FREE fun and engaging youth work sessions at a purpose built youth centre!

All young people are welcome
Tues- y9- age 19
Weds- y6,7 & 8
Session times are 3pm-5.30pm Holsworthy Youth club is a charitable organisation run under the umbrella of Holsworthy Property Trust. We provide a safe place for young people to meet during FREE fun and engaging youth work sessions led by a JNC qualified Youth Worker. The historical building is a purpose built youth centre, which has see

n youth work delivered from it for over 50 years. So we carry on this tradition of providing open access youth work where all young people are welcome and will find and engaging, non-judgemental environment where they can be themselves. Within the centre we all have a full equipped music room where young people can access music tuition in partnership with music tutors from DAISI.

As you may already have heard Ruth Jones will be leaving her job at the end of this school term.
This will be a very sad blow to the schools, clubs and othere places Ruth has so brilliantly supported.
Holsworthy youthclub and the young people are going to miss her a lot, Ruth's creativity and crafting skills, alongside the trust and rapport she has built with the young people that attend has been invaluable.

The youthclub already needed volunteers and now it's going to be more of an issue. If you are creative, like craft or art activities or just think you have something to offer and would be interested in volunteering please do get in touch

As we have been informed that Holsworthy primary school will be closing at 12.00 tomorrow 24th June because of the severe weather warning, we have also made the decision that the youthclub will also be closed

This is what Nik wrote when I asked for a brief explanation of what he does
