The Holmfirth Duck Race is a charity event involving the pouring of many, many, MANY plastic ducks (not real ones, we need to stress this!) into the river in the Town centre, and then they float down the river to the finishing bridge alongside the Sands recreation ground in sunny Holmfirth. Money raised goes to local charities and good causes in your area. We always host on the first Sunday in Jul

y along with a fair, food, and outdoor bar and plenty of fun and games to keep the young and young at heart entertained for hours. Come on over, enjoy the great British summertime and give us a quack!

Huddersfield & District Round Table is about much more than just putting on events and raising money for local people and charities. We’re a group of like-minded lads who get together regularly for socials, building a strong team, making lifelong friendships, and connecting with others who want to make a real difference.
It’s also a great way to get yourself—or even your other half—out of the house and doing something different.
This week, we’re hosting a social and opening it up to anyone interested in joining the Round Table . If you’re a man aged 18–45 and fancy meeting new people, having a laugh, and getting involved in something meaningful, we’d love to hear from you.
