HELSTON HARVEST FAIR AND CARNIVAL AGM - Tuesday 24 February, 6:30pm at The Godolphin Club, Helston.

We are always looking for new committee members and volunteers, no-matter how much time you can spare.
Can you spare a few hours to help with the Horticulture and Craft Show, or help marshal at the carnival?
We’d also love to hear your views and ideas.
If you want to get involved come along and see how you can help to keep Helston’s traditions alive!

Merry Christmas from Helston Harvest Fair and Carnival 🎄

Save the date! Helston’s Lantern Parade will return on Saturday 7th March 2026 at Coronation Park, with live music from 5.00pm and the lantern parade setting off at 6.30pm.

Further details, including free community lantern-making workshops, which will be announced soon on our website and social media.

The event is kindly supported by South Kerrier Alliance CIC and City of Lights.

What a fantastic carnival on Saturday. It was full of colour, music and most importantly laughter.
The Harvest Fair and Canival committee would like to thank the following people:
Tony's Tavern Elysian Fields, Ferdi's Indoor Play and CTC South West Limited for your sponsorship
Helston Town Concert Brass for leading the carnival. You were amazing as always.
Cornwall 4x4 Response Team for carrying out the road closures and keeping everyone safe
Cllr Mike Thomas for awarding funding through the Community Chest grant scheme
The Mayor and Mayoress for judging all the wonderful entries
To all the volunteers who helped with marshalling and collecting
Geoff Squibb for taking the beautiful photographs
And a BIG thank you to everyone who took part and came and watched the carnival. Without you there wouldn’t be a carnival.

Helston Carnival - TODAY 😁- Saturday 13th September. The weather is looking good, and it’s not too late to enter. Dig out that fancy dress costume and come and join the fun. It’s FREE to enter and you could win a cash prize. The carnival procession will leave Helston Tesco carpark at 6pm and travels down Clodgey Lane, Trengrouse Way, Meneage Street, Coinage Hall Street to the monument, and then back up Coinage Hall Street, Wendron Street, Godolphin Road and finishing at back at Tesco. Helston Band will be collecting for the band and the carnival so please bring some change 🙂
