The Centre offers a large main hall, large and small meeting rooms, plus a large, fully equipped modern catering kitchen.With the added benefit a large car-park the Centre’s attractive location makes an ideal venue for wedding receptions.

HATHERLEIGH COMMUNITY CENTRE

Welcome to the revamped Community Centre for 2026. We have recently had a new carpet laid in the hall and new flooring in the Foyer. The Community Centre is coming up to its 20th Anniversary and we would like to celebrate this in style.
As well as all our regular clubs here again this year we have some other exciting events as well. Rehearsals are well under way for the Players Pantomime Alice in Wonderland running from Thursday 19th Feb – Saturday 21st Feb – one not to be missed. We have Easter bingos booked in, Band concerts, Up Close Theatre are visiting us in April, Johnny Cowling will be here on 10th May and Donna will be showing more amazing films, hosting roller discos, and Stand Sure Orchestra and Choir will be presenting Undercover Melodies on 28th March, Electric Summer on 18th July, Halloween Spooktacular on 24th October and Christmas Crackers on 19th December. We are so lucky to have such talented musicians in Hatherleigh.
All our evening slots at the Centre are fully booked during the week but if anyone wants to hire during the day we can definitely fit you in. Please book your parties and events in early to guarantee your dates. We have a fully stocked bar and a large car park and our location is conveniently situated within the town.
The whole community benefits from having an amazing building on their doorstep so they don’t need to travel to take part in clubs and socialize with people. We as a Community Centre are an important hub of this rural community and need to keep on providing services for people of all ages to enjoy. Please support your local Community Centre whenever you can so we can continue to keep this fantastic venue thriving and moving from strength to strength for future generations to come.
