Rossendale Ladies Choir

Rossendale Ladies Choir The Rossendale Ladies Choir was formed in 1977, and currently has over 40 members. Membership is made up of ladies from all age groups and all walks of life.

Our repertoire is extremely varied, having been built up over the years and ranges from traditional choral works, spirituals, folk songs, to more modern pieces such as James Bond and musical theatre. We meet every Wednesday evening and rehearse at St. Peter’s Church, St Peter’s Avenue, Haslingden, Rossendale, BB4 6NZ from 7.30 to 9.30pm to share a love of music. New members are made very welcome

and we warmly extend an invitation to any prospective members to just come along to a rehearsal, sit in and listen or join in if you fancy a go. We look forward to seeing you! Rehearsals are well underway for our summer concerts.
First up is Rakefoot Methodist Church in Crawshawbooth on Saturday 13th June at 7:30pm.
All profits from this concert will go to Rossendale Hospice and Rakefoot Methodist church so please support us.
Ticket will be available on the door at £8 which includes refreshments.

🎶 The Alzheimer's Society Charity Concert is on Friday 26 June 2026 at Accrington Town Hall 🎶

⏰It starts at 7.30pm and will last approximately 2 hours, with an interval of 20 mins

☕️ refreshments will be available to purchase

🎁On the evening, there will also be a raffle and donation buckets.

💜All proceeds will go to Alzheimer's Society

We hope everyone has had a lovely Easter and is enjoying this beautiful weather! 🌞

Just a reminder that rehearsals recommence this evening at St Peter's Haslingden Church and Community Centre. The church will be open from 7pm for refreshments ☕️🫖 and catching up

Rehearsal will start at 7:30pm through to 9:30pm. If you'd like to pop along and see what we're about, you're very welcome!

It's nearly that time of year, folks! 🐣 RLC are now on their Easter break, so no rehearsal tonight or 1st April.

We have been very warmly welcomed at Rakefoot Methodist Church Crawshawbooth for the last several weeks for our rehearsals and thank them all very much for providing us with a wonderful space to meet up and sing! 😊🎼

The drinks🫖☕️ and opportunity to catch up with one another before rehearsals started have been fantastic and something we will continue back at St Peter's after our Easter break (more details to follow).
