A little update from us.

After finally feeling strong enough to engage with GOSH patients, we have had the honour of helping quite a few under our Ray of Sunshine scheme. We provide one off gifts to babies and children (and their families) who are suffering from rare cardiomyopathies (heart diseases) and are being treated at Great Ormond Street Hospital.

We know from personal experience how acts of kindness - no matter how small - can mean the everything when you’re drowning in darkness. And so we hope that we can bring even a little light to those affected in their darkest times.

A huge, huge thank you to everyone that has and continues to help us raise money. It’s all so worthwhile and we are immensely proud to be able to do what we do xx

✨ We are always blown away and honoured when people fundraise on our behalf, but even more so when it’s done by the children we know and love ✨

For the third year running Isla’s cousin Florence and her friends made and sold bracelets, this time at the Hockley Easter Trail.

They raised an incredible £185.50 which will be enough to provide a Ray of Sunshine gift to a baby or young child being treated at GOSH 🥺

✨ 1.3million steps for Isla ✨

We have been blown away by the recent fundraising on our behalf, none more so than Isla’s Auntie - The Mortgage Mum and her friends.

Starting on Friday 13th March, Sarah and her friends (with help from some of their children!) are aiming to walk 1.3million steps over 13 days - with a goal of raising £1.3k!!

IT’S OFFICIAL! Our 3rd annual golf day will be taking place on Friday 25th September 2026. Get it in the diary!

Tickets will be available to purchase on our website very soon as well as the official pink For Isla golf shirts. 💗

We are so, so proud of who completed her first ever marathon this weekend for our charity and in memory of Isla ✨. She ran with a photo of our girl pinned to her back and so many other runners came up and touched Isla’s face as they went round 🥹

Becky is Isla’s 2nd cousin and completed the 42km in 4hrs 9mins (how she looked that good at the end is beyond me!!). She continues to raise a huge amount through such generous donations.

We are so honoured that in just under 2 weeks time, 3 amazing people will be running their first marathons on behalf of the For Isla Foundation.

On Sunday 15th March, , and will be joining thousands of others and taking part in the Barcelona Marathon.

We will be there to cheer them on and can’t thank them enough for such an incredible commitment.

They have each set up a Go Fund me page for anyone that wants to contribute and thank you to everyone that has donated so far (links are in our bio)

We can’t wait to keep you updated on their progress!
