🐴 We're Hiring! Join Our Wonderful Team at Gaddesden Place RDA - Saturday and Ad-Hoc Groom🐴
Are you an experienced Groom with a passion for horses and making a difference? We’re looking for part-time and ad hoc cover grooms to support our friendly team at Gaddesden Place Riding for the Disabled in Hertfordshire.
At Gaddesden Place RDA, we provide therapeutic riding sessions for individuals with disabilities — and our horses are at the heart of everything we do. That’s where you come in!
✨ What You’ll Be Doing:
Daily care of our amazing horses 🐎
Grooming, mucking out, feeding & general stable duties
Tacking up and preparing horses for sessions
Supporting training and schooling to keep our horses happy, healthy & ready to work
Working alongside a small, passionate team of staff and volunteers
🌟 We’re Looking For:
Solid experience in horse care & stable management
Confident rider with BHS Level 1 or 2 (or equivalent) a bonus
A team player with a can-do attitude
Someone who shares our passion for helping others through horses

Burns Night Charity Dinner Dance on Saturday 31st January 2026

All profits support two wonderful local charities:

Berkhamsted Town Hall
7:00pm for 7:30pm | Carriages at 11:30pm
£48 per person, including:

o A delicious 3-course meal (haggis starter or veggie option)
o Dancing to the fabulous Pickled Tink Ceilidh Band
o Burns poetry, piping from Steve Marshall, Pipe Major of Harpenden Pipe Band
o A few very short toasts

Dress Code: Kilts, black tie, smart casual—or anything with a touch of tartan!
