Community Action Dacorum is a charity that provides a circle of support to the local community. As a council for voluntary service, we believe in bringing people together to achieve more in their communities and improve quality of life. What we do

• Support voluntary organisations and community groups at the early stages of their development

• Provide funding advice, representatio

n and a payroll service to help them grow and flourish

• Deliver services and projects that support local individuals, businesses and community groups

What is a Floating Market?
Think of a traditional farmers' market or craft fair, but entirely on the water. Our members live and work on their narrowboats, transforming them into floating boutiques, bakeries, and workshops. From handmade crafts and artisan food to unique hardware and gifts, it’s a community event unlike anything else.
It’s Free: A great, family-friendly day out by the towpath
