🌼 LOOKING FOR SOMETHING DIFFERENT FOR YOUR CHILD? 🌼
Does your child struggle in a mainstream school environment? Maybe they’re experiencing school anxiety, EBSA, SEND, autism, ADHD, PDA or SEMH needs and would thrive somewhere smaller, calmer and more nurturing.

The Daffodil Project could be the place for them.
We are a small, therapeutic, nature-based alternative provision for children and young people aged 5–16, offering a relaxed home-from-home environment where children can learn, grow and build confidence at their own pace.

Animal care
Gardening & growing
Cooking & life skills
Arts, crafts & practical projects
Woodwork & hands-on learning
Social & emotional development
Plenty of outdoor time
Small groups & individualised support
Speech & Language Therapy now available

There are no uniforms, no rows of desks and no pressure to fit into a one-size-fits-all approach. We focus on building relationships first and helping children feel safe, understood and ready to engage.

We have a small number of places available for September, but they are filling quickly!
We accept school funded placements, EOTAS packages and privately funded children, including home-educated children looking for additional learning and social opportunities.
📍 Rainham, Medway, Kent
⏰ Morning & afternoon sessions available

📅 Children can attend from one session per week
If you think your child could thrive at Daffodils, send us a message or email us at [email protected] to arrange a chat or come and have a look around. 💛🌼

Sometimes children don't need to try harder, they just need the right environment to thrive. 🌱

The Daffodil Project CIC is a therapeutic, nature-based inclusion centre based in Rainham, Kent. We support children who may be finding traditional educational settings overwhelming — offering them a different way to learn, develop, and thrive.

EXCITING NEWS AT THE DAFFODIL PROJECT!

We are SO excited to share that we are adding Speech and Language Therapy (SALT) to our provision from September!

Please meet our lovely Samantha, who will be joining the Daffodil team and offering specialist Speech and Language Therapy to the children and young people who attend us. 💛
Having SALT available within Daffodils means children can access support in an environment where they already feel safe and comfortable, with Samantha working alongside our team to help us carry strategies through into their everyday sessions.

This is something we’ve wanted to introduce for a while, so we’re really excited to finally be able to offer it!
SALT will be available as an optional addition to your child’s usual Daffodil session.
If your child currently attends The Daffodil Project and you think they could benefit from Speech and Language Therapy, please pop us an email at
[email protected] to find out more.

A very big welcome to Samantha ! we’re so excited to have you joining our Daffodil family! 🌼💛

Gosh… it’s the last day of the academic year at The Daffodil Project CIC!! 💜🌼

We’ve officially completed our first full academic year, and I honestly feel so emotional (in the best way). 😁💜

It’s amazing to think that we filled up so quickly and have only heard such glowing feedback. We must be doing something right! 🥹

I’m sad to see some of our children leave because they’ve all become such a big part of The Daffodil Project family, but I’m also so happy for them because they’re moving on to the right school placements. Watching them grow in confidence, develop new skills, and make so much progress has been the biggest privilege. I can’t wait to welcome so many of our children back in September, along with some new faces who need that extra bit of support. 💜

It still feels so surreal that an idea I had years ago has become a reality. To see something that once existed only in my mind now changing the lives of children and their families is something I’ll never take for granted.
I’m incredibly proud of everything we’ve achieved in our very first year. Every child, every family, every member of our team has helped make The Daffodil Project what it is today, and I’m so grateful to every single one of you for believing in us.

And we’re only just getting started!
September is already looking so exciting, with a Speech and Language Therapist, and a counselling Therapist joining our team, as well as a new staff member starting, and so many exciting opportunities ahead. I honestly cannot wait to see what our second year brings.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us this year. Here’s to an amazing first year… and an even brighter second year. 💜✨

We honestly can’t believe that it’s almost been a whole academic year since we opened our doors!
This year has flown by and has been filled with so many special moments, lots of learning, laughter, and memories that we’ll treasure forever.
We still have two wonderful weeks left together before we finish for the summer, and our final week will be full of celebrations. We’ll be saying goodbye to some of our children as they head off on exciting new adventures and start new schools. Watching them grow and gain confidence has been such a privilege, and although we’ll miss them dearly, we couldn’t be prouder.
To those returning in September, we can’t wait to welcome you back with open arms for another year of messy play, practical learning, exploring, and making even more memories together.
