🌱 Lawn Clippings Needed! 🌱

The children at The Daffodil Centre are growing vegetables and learning about gardening, composting, and where food comes from.
If you have any untreated grass clippings from your lawn, we’d love to put them to good use in our compost and growing beds.

Please message us if you can help. Thank you! 🌻

Another set of amazing nails have been thoughtfully made for my wedding day by one of my amazingly talented students!! The are so beautiful’.
The wildflowers woven throughout the design tie in perfectly with our Daffodil theme, making them even more special. What makes them truly priceless, though, is knowing that one of our incredible students took the time, care, and creativity to make them for me to wear on my wedding day.
I am so incredibly thankful. It's moments like these that remind me just how lucky I am to be surrounded by such thoughtful, talented, and kind young people every day. The love and effort that went into this gift means more to me than words can say.💜

To the student who made these for me…thank you from the bottom of my heart. I will wear them with so much pride and gratitude on one of the most important days of my life.
And to all of our amazing students at The Daffodil, thank you for constantly inspiring me. Watching you grow, create, learn, and become the wonderful individuals you are is one of the greatest privileges. I am so proud of each and every one of you every single day. My heart is very full. 💛🌼

Our lovely tortoise Shelby has been found! She wanted to learn more subject, so I was trying to get into Miers Court School 😉 it has made my morning that we found her and she’s safe back at the daffodil Project cic 💜

Shelby, our tortoise has gone walkabout!! if anyone finds her please bring her back to us in Silverspot Close Rainham.
She was last seen today at 1 o’clock and think as she’s had lots of sunlight, she’s speedy. I’ve looked all around the building and the garden and the School field.
I am just worried she might have got out under the front gate. Call me on (07712) 557959 if you find her.

Over the Easter holidays, I said YES 💍🥰

And while I’m still soaking in all the happiness and excitement, I wanted to share something incredibly special that has completely touched my heart.

One of my amazing students from The Daffodil Project has spent her own free time creating the most beautiful handmade nail sets for my wedding. Not just one set… but THREE 😭💅🏼💜

Every single nail has been hand painted with such care, patience, creativity, and intricate detail to perfectly match my wedding dress. The time, effort, and love that has gone into these sets is honestly overwhelming.

It is such an honour to have a young person create something so meaningful for me. Watching our students grow in confidence, creativity, and talent is one of the greatest privileges, but to then receive something this thoughtful and beautiful means more than words can say.

I am beyond proud. Thank you for putting your heart into every tiny detail — I will treasure these forever 🤍

This week’s foraging focus: Elderflower
It’s amazing what we can find growing right under our noses!! Elderflower fills our hedgerows and parks, alongside so many other wild treasures just waiting to be noticed. Slowing down to look closely helps us connect with the seasons, learn through nature, and rediscover the beauty all around us.
Foraging is more than gathering plants… it’s preserving traditional knowledge, nurturing curiosity, and encouraging outdoor learning for all ages.
