We have appointed surveyors to undertake a sample stock condition survey of our tenants’ homes. The surveys will consist of a 10% property type sample with those properties chosen receiving notification from the suryeor direct of the planned survey along with details on timescales etc. The surveyor will have identification along with a Paragon HA authorisation letter dated and signed.

Have Your Say – We Want to Hear From You!

Your feedback helps shape the services we provide.

Each month, we ask a sample of tenants to take part in a short satisfaction survey so we can understand what’s working well and where we need to improve. This is part of our commitment to meeting Scottish Housing Regulator standards.

October has been a bit of month weather wise with storms and flood warnings. As the winter approaches you might want to think about some things you can do in the event of bad weather. has some good advice on preparing a food kit and we have shared this below

Your flood kit should include:

Torch and spare batteries

First aid kit

Any prescription medicines you might need

Warm, waterproof shoes and clothes

Rubber gloves

Bottled water and snacks

Essential pet and children's supplies (like pet food and nappies)

Insurance documents

Passports

Portable wind-up or battery powered radio (and spare batteries)

A list of important phone numbers

Store your flood kit in a waterproof box and put it somewhere high up.

Project HoPE - Helping Hand for Paragon HA Tenants

We have some funding through the Scottish Procurement Alliance (SPA) Rebate scheme that means we can offer small-scale, practical help to our tenants experiencing financial pressure or difficult circumstances. It is intended to support early intervention, household wellbeing and tenancy sustainment without creating unnecessary barriers.

Who qualifies ?

A current Association tenant or a member of their household where
the household is experiencing financial pressure or difficult circumstances and
the requested help addresses an immediate practical barrier and is likely to have a positive short-term effect.

What kind of support is avaialable?

Examples include supermarket vouchers, fuel or energy top-ups, mobile credit or data, school uniform help, basic household essentials, and travel linked to employment or essential appointments. Other small practical interventions may also be considered.

How can I get help ?

If you are a Paragon HA tenant and would benefit from a helping hand why not get in touch? Just give us a call or drop us an email. Funding is limited but we'll do our best to make it go as far as possible to make a positive dfiference for our tenants.

Good news is no flooding today and the office is open. Nice calm day so far but rain forecast later. You can keep up to date with the weather and track flood warnings .
It is worth registering with SEPA's Floodline service to keep up to date with warnings

SEPA has issued flood alerts for the early hours of Wednesday 28th October 2026. This tidal flood alert covers Carronshore, Grangemouth and Bo'ness areas.
If the flood hits, Falkirk Council are prepared with sandbags, flood barriers and temporary pumps to assist where they are needed. Follow them on Facebook Council

Our office lies in the area that may be affected so we may not be able to open the office tomorrow but staff can work remotely and you can reach us by phone as usual. Kerse Rd area is at risk. If you are an Association tenant and affected by flooding please get in touch.

Stay safe

Further stormy weather is expected to affect Scotland through Tuesday and Wednesday.

Coastal flooding impacts are likely around the country, these may be particularly significant around the Northern Isles coastline. Storm surges combined with spring tides and large waves are expected to result in spray and wave overtopping, particularly around the high tide. These conditions may result in extensive flooding of low lying roads, property flooding and significant travel disruption.

Remain vigilant, particularly around coastal areas, and stay away from flooded promenades, sea walls and crashing waves.
