Mark your calendars, round up the kids, and come along for an afternoon packed with laughter, delicious food, and friendly competition. Best of all? Entry is completely FREE!

🎂 The Great Woodlands Bake Off Show off your baking skills or simply enjoy tasting some incredible sweet treats.

🎨 Face Painting – Transform the little ones into their favorite characters or animals.

Looking for the perfect way to spend your weekend? We have a packed line-up of incredible local events across Formby, and there is truly something for everyone. From live music and sea creatures to stunning choir performances, here is everything you need to know:

📅 Friday 26th June : River Voices Choir Concert

📍 Formby Methodist Church, Elbow Lane

🎟️ FREE admission – Come along and enjoy a beautiful evening of music!

📅 Saturday 27th June : Community Celebration Day

📍 Formby Village
⏰ 1:30 PM – 4:30 PM
✨ Featuring live music & entertainment, a Southport Inshore Lifeboat heritage display, community stalls, and a touch of magic with sea creatures, mermaids, and King Neptune!

Evening Choir Concert
📍 Formby High School
⏰ 7:00 PM
🎵 A spectacular sea-themed musical programme performed by the Voiceworks Choir (featuring talented Formby High students) and the incredible G:Force Gospel Choir.

💛 Supporting Vital Local Causes

🧶✨ FREE EVENT - SATURDAY 6th JUNE ... Get ready for a burst of colour, Formby! ✨🧶

This Saturday, June 6th, the streets are getting a major, cozy makeover for Formby's Annual Yarn Bombing Day!

The incredible team behind this has worked tirelessly all year long, and rumour has it there are some absolutely stunning new displays waiting to surprise us in the village.

☀️ We are crossing our fingers for some beautiful weekend weather so everyone can get out, grab a coffee, and marvel at these woolly masterpieces. It’s the perfect excuse for a weekend stroll with the family!

Make sure to take plenty of photos and tag the creators (Formby Yarn Bombers) to show them some love for all their hard work.

Mark your calendars! 🗓️ Saturday 20th June is officially set to be the next Summer day out for the whole family at The Grapes, Formby Pub starting from 11:30 am! All in aid of Anthony Nolan foundation organised by ❤️

First off - The Mayor of Sefton will be attending to open the festivities! 🎩✨

Rain or shine, the party is ON! ☀️🌧️ You'll either be outside enjoying the summer air weather permitting, but if the British weather does its thing, don't worry - they have given over the entire North Wing of the pub to keep the fun going indoors!

Here is a taster of what's lined up:

🚒 SEE A REAL FIRE ENGINE! The Formby Fire Service will be on-site for the kids (and big kids!) to explore.

Join Make Noise for their annual Summer Concert, where both the adult and amazing youth choir, Make Noise 2, will be filling the stunning Oak Theatre at Scarisbrick Hall School with incredible music and rich harmonies. 🏰✨

They also have some very special guest performances lined up that you won’t want to miss!

Best of all? It’s all in aid of the phenomenal Queenscourt Hospice (all profits go directly to them!). ❤️

As the year draws to a close and the twinkling lights come out across our wonderful village, we want to take a moment to send our sincerest thanks and warmest wishes to everyone in our brilliant community.

What a year it has been! We've loved seeing so many of you connect, celebrate, and support local causes at all the amazing events hosted across Formby. Your energy and community spirit are what make this place so special.
