As we say goodbye to 2025, we want to thank everyone who have supported New Beginnings over this year.

From our incredible dogs and dedicated volunteers to our handlers and the support recieved within the local community we are based in, our charity has grown so much this year thanks to ongoing support and dedication.

This year brought meaningful successes and life changing partnerships, reminding us why we do what we do.

We’re excited to see what 2026 has in store for us with lots of big plans ahead, and a continued commitment to changing lives together.

Fireworks can be alot of fun for us, but frightening for them. Keep your furry friends safe, calm and comforted during your celebrations 🐾

Additionally note: Classic FM has an evening dedicated to our furry friends this evening, Pet Classics, a list of specially selected music to help keep them calm through out the night.

All tricks and plenty of treats for these puppies and dogs sitting their kennel club good citizen scheme assessments at various levels this past weekend.

On Friday we had our playful parade of puppies who all passed their kennel club puppy foundation assessment with a total of 5 puppies passing a milestone in their obedience training and relationship building with their handlers.

We saw 4 silver passes for the dogs sitting their assessment on Saturday morning and 1 amazing achievement in the gold assessment.

Congratulations to all who attended, keep up the training because it is certainly paying off.

With a 100% pass across all our assessments this past weekend we are very proud of all participants. Now time for a brief break this weekend before we continue om with our next set of classes.

The pre halloween weekend for New Beginnings was certainly a busy one, as we hit our Autumn assessment period.

A huge congratulations to all the dogs and their handlers and their hardwork which certainly paid off.

11 teams sat their public access assessment, with 8 of those being teams doing their annual re-assessment and 9 sitting their first assessment they all performed fantastically, and should be very proud of themselves and their dogs, as we certainly are.

A huge thank you to our assessors for their travel, support and time over the weekend, it is always a pleasure 🐾🏅
