The ACTivate Project CIC is a peer-led community initiative based in Essex, supporting people affected by poor mental health and those in recovery from addiction. We deliver small-group programmes inspired by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) principles — a practical, evidence-informed approach that helps people develop psychological flexibility, connect with what truly matters to them, and
take meaningful steps forward even when life feels difficult. Our 8-week programme offers:
• A safe and supportive space
• Practical ACT-based tools and reflection
• Opportunities to explore values and build resilience
• Ongoing connection through a monthly sharing space
ACTivate Project is not a clinical or crisis service. It is a community-based space rooted in lived experience, mutual support and personal growth. We are currently preparing to pilot our first programme and look forward to sharing more soon. If you would like to learn more or express interest in future groups, please get in touch.
