ππ WE'VE BEEN A LITTLE QUIETβ¦ BUT WE'RE STILL HERE, DOING WHAT WE DO BEST! ππ
We know it's been a little while since we've shared updates and stories about the wonderful families we've been supporting through Mitchell's Miracles, and we wanted to explain why. π
The past few months have been an absolute whirlwind for our little charity!
From packing up our old office, moving into our new premises, unpacking what felt like a never-ending mountain of boxes, finding our feet, dealing with a few unexpected teething problems, and juggling fundraising events along the way⦠it's certainly been a busy time!
But we think we can finally sayβ¦ WE'RE SETTLING IN!π‘π
We want to say a huge **THANK YOU** to everyone who has been patient with us whilst we've been getting ourselves organised.
Behind the scenes, our work supporting families affected by Neuroblastoma has continued, even if we haven't had the opportunity to share their stories with you recently. We have lots of updates to catch up on, and we hope to start sharing these with you again very soon.
π BUT WE ALSO WANT TO ASK YOU SOMETHINGβ¦
Could you help our little charity?
We all know how difficult life can be at the moment. The cost of living, everyday bills, and the financial pressures so many families are facing are challenging enough.
But now imagine facing all of that whilst your child is fighting cancer.π
Imagine having to leave your job or reduce your working hours to be by your child's hospital bedside.
Imagine worrying about how you're going to pay your household bills, put petrol in the car to get to hospital, or afford meals whilst staying miles away from home.
All whilst watching your precious child endure treatment that no child should ever have to face.
For so many families affected by Neuroblastoma, this is their reality.
And this is exactly why Mitchell's Miracles exists. π
We are a small charity, founded in loving memory of little Mitchell Huth, who sadly lost his battle with Neuroblastoma at just seven years old.
We may be small, but our determination to help families facing this devastating childhood cancer has never changed.
Sadly, smaller charities like ours can often be overlooked. We don't have enormous marketing budgets, paid advertising campaigns or large fundraising teams working behind the scenes.
We do it ourselves, with a very small team, a lot of determination, and the kindness of people like YOU. π
And the truth is, we need your help more than ever.
π COULD YOU HELP US MAKE A DIFFERENCE? π
Perhaps you could organise a little fundraiser at work, hold a coffee morning, arrange a raffle, take on a sponsored challenge, introduce us to a local business, or simply help spread the word about our charity.
You don't have to raise thousands of pounds. Every little bit of support matters, and sometimes the smallest gestures can make the biggest difference.
We would absolutely love to hear your fundraising ideas!
Because behind every grant we provide is a family going through one of the most frightening experiences imaginable. And behind every donation is someone who cares enough to help. π
π PLEASE DON'T LET OUR LITTLE CHARITY BE FORGOTTEN.
Mitchell's Miracles was created from a mother's love for her little boy, and every day we strive to keep Mitchell's memory alive by helping other families facing the same devastating diagnosis.
We cannot do this without you.
So, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you for sticking with us, believing in what we do, and helping us keep Mitchell's legacy alive.
ππ Small charity. Big hearts. Making miracles happen together ππ
