🎭✨ Women of the Wirral at Blue Stockings ✨🎭

A group from Women of the Wirral enjoyed a fantastic evening at the Gladstone Theatre watching Blue Stockings.

The play tells the inspiring story of four young women in the 1890s who dared to challenge expectations and fight for the right to higher education. Their courage, determination, and friendship made for a moving and powerful performance.

We laughed, reflected, and left feeling inspired by the women who helped pave the way for future generations.

A wonderful evening of theatre, friendship, and celebrating women’s achievements. 💙💛

🌻 This Week at Women of the Wirral 🌻

What a wonderful week of creativity, friendship and wellbeing!

💚 We came together at The Big Lunch at Callister Garden, sharing food, conversation, laughter and community spirit.

🎨 At the Williamson Art Gallery, we enjoyed crafts inspired by the beautiful Georgia O’Keeffe exhibition, exploring creativity and self-expression together.

👜 At Tomorrow’s Women, we decorated bags and took part in self-care activities inspired by the life and work of Frida Kahlo. The women created some amazing pieces, reflecting on resilience, individuality and being kind to ourselves.

🌸 From colourful crafts and creative conversations to new friendships and shared experiences, this week reminded us of the power of coming together as women.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, supported us and helped make these sessions so special.

This week we explore themes of self-love and resilience, enjoy a Frida Kahlo-inspired collage session, crochet together, and welcome Tracey from The Breeze Project to help us build resilience and wellbeing.
