As the Friends of Ifold Road Park, we’re working constructively with the Council’s Greenspaces team to address the underlying drainage issues.

🌳 The additional trees which were planted to help solve the flooding are great for the long-term health of the park. But it’s now clear that more practical drainage solutions are needed, and we’re continuing to push for those.

Thanks for bearing with us while this work continues. In the meantime, wellies are recommended. Plus we have it on good authority that the puddles are excellent for splashing in! ☔️

Litter picking and puddle jumping! The best combination of community fun we've seen in a while! (And psst, it's not just for kids!)

☔️ There has to be some benefits to a flooded park, right?
