Trusting God in the Middle of the Story

It's easy to trust God when we can see how everything works out. It's much harder when we're living through the pain, uncertainty, and waiting.

In this week's reflection on Genesis 50:20, we explore how Joseph's story reminds us that God's purposes are often hidden long before they become clear.

If you've ever wondered where God is in the middle of disappointment, loss, or unanswered prayer, I hope this encourages you.

"You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good..." (Genesis 50:20)

Have we misunderstood Martha?

The story of Martha and Mary is often presented as a choice between busyness and devotion. But what if Jesus wasn't rebuking Martha for serving at all?

In **Martha, Martha: When Serving Jesus Becomes a Burden**, I explore whether the real issue was not Martha's activity, but the anxiety, comparison and misplaced focus that had crept into her heart.

Far from condemning service, Jesus gently addresses a burdened heart, reminding us that even good things can distract us when our eyes drift from Him.

A fresh and pastoral look at a familiar story that still speaks powerfully to our busy lives today.

A fresh look at Martha and Mary, exploring how service becomes burdensome when comparison and anxiety distract us from Christ.

How often are we truly present with the people around us?

In *The Heart of Presence*, explore how Jesus' encounter with the woman at the well challenges us to slow down, listen well, and see others with compassion and dignity. Presence is more than simply showing up; it is one of the most powerful ways we can reflect the heart of Christ in our everyday lives.
