Our Volunteer Elves have worked their little socks off this year again to help make Gift of Christmas Appeal FIFE a success. We have had around 40 or our own volunteer elves working with us this year, along with our gang of workplace elves from Lloyds Banking Group, all of which have done a fab job. For the past 10 years Gift of Christmas Appeal FIFE has been run entirely by volunteers. Our volunteers donate their time, their petrol, their vehicles, their energy, their enthusiasm, their ideas, their goodwill and sometimes some tasty nibbles for the elves, to keep their strength up. Our volunteers have supported Gift of Christmas Appeal FIFE 2025 in lots and lots of different ways this year - working in our warehouse, looking after our drop off points, supporting with emails and social media, coming up with fab ideas for our special request gift bags, managing our Amazon Wishlists, supporting with volunteer recruitment, filling their cars with cardboard and taking it to the local recycling centre, raising awareness of our work and in the case of 1 newbie volunteer......lots of sweeping, as they found that once committed to this job, it was very hard to stop before our entire warehouse was looking beautiful again (we hope this has not resulted in repetitive strain injury).
