Sea Cadets Christchurch

Sea Cadets Christchurch This page is for current, previous and future cadets to ask and discuss anything related to Sea Cadets.

The Sea Cadets is a national youth organisation for boys and girls aged 10 - 18. The aim of the Sea Cadets is to help young people towards responsible adulthood by encouraging valuable personal attributes and high standards of conduct using a nautical theme based on the customs of the Royal Navy & Royal Marines. Through adventurous activities cadets become self-reliant, confident, and through team

work cadets develop consideration and respect for others. We encourage high personal standards and a sense of purpose, and we provide a sound foundation for future careers, no matter what it may be. If you’re interested in joining us for some fun and unforgettable experiences, your local Sea Cadet unit is
Christchurch Sea Cadets, and we are looking for young people who love to keep busy, learn new things, meet new friends and most of all… have a great time! We are also recruiting for any adult volunteers who are able to help our unit in any way. We just ask for you to be responsible and we will provide you with any necessary training. Anyone with any naval/sea background/knowledge would be fantastic to help our charity go from strength to strength.

Lovely to see our new DO the other night! Welcome, Ma'am!

It has been a very busy week so sorry for the delay with posting this. I was delighted to meet the cadets and adult volunteers of Sea Cadets Christchurch on Tuesday evening. It was a pleasure to chat with the cadets, see the boating area and the enthusiasm the cadets have for all things sea cadets.
Last night I was out again visiting Borough of Poole Sea Cadets for their Unit Review, which gave a chance to meet volunteers and cadets. Unfortunately they all ran off before I could snap a photo so will have to visit again soon.
