Our first Community Pizza Workshop created an incredible opportunity for people to cook together, share stories, meet new people and celebrate community. The smiles, conversations, connections and positive feedback showed us just how powerful food can be in bringing people from different backgrounds together. 🤝🍕

Mesajul consulului general cu prilejul Zilei Limbii Române - 31 august👇

“Astăzi, de Ziua Limbii Române, celebrăm mai mult decât cuvintele pe care le rostim. Celebrăm limba în care am spus pentru prima dată „mamă”, în care ne purtăm amintirile și dorul și prin care, oriunde ne-am afla în lume, continuăm să ne recunoaștem unii pe alții. Limba română este una dintre cele mai puternice legături cu ceea ce suntem și cu locul pe care îl numim „acasă”.

Pentru comunitățile românești din diaspora, păstrarea limbii române capătă o semnificație aparte. De aceea, fiecare școală românească, fiecare profesor, părinte, preot, asociație sau voluntar care îi învață pe copii să vorbească, să citească și să scrie în limba română construiește, de fapt, o punte între generații. Sprijinirea acestor inițiative educaționale înseamnă sprijinirea identității noastre și a continuității comunității românești peste hotare.

De 31 august, gândul meu se îndreaptă cu recunoștință către toți cei care fac ca limba română să se audă și să fie iubită departe de România și, mai ales, către copiii noștri. Pentru că, atât timp cât ei vor vorbi românește, România va rămâne aproape, indiferent de distanță.
La mulți ani, Limbii Române!”

🌼 Community Pizza Workshop - Doncaster, 23rd August

This special event is being organised in collaboration with Chef Mariana from Bake My Day 👩‍🍳🍕

Chef Mariana will guide our participants through the entire pizza-making process, from preparing and shaping the dough all the way to baking the perfect pizza. 🍕 Participants will have the opportunity to learn practical techniques, discover useful tips and, of course, enjoy the delicious results!

We are delighted to welcome a very special guest to our Community Pizza Workshop at Transylvania Traditions — Head Chef Gabriela Socol from Hope4Sheffield 👩‍🍳

With over 20 years of experience in hospitality and having previously owned her own pizza restaurant, Gabriela brings a wealth of knowledge, passion and experience. She will be joining us to share her tips, tricks, technics and experience from the world of pizza.

We are grateful to both Chef Gabriela and Chef Mariana for sharing their skills, passion and experience with our community. ❤️

This workshop is about learning new skills, building connections, celebrating diversity and bringing people together through the love of food. 🌍🍕
