Okay, the little people are back at school this week and the teenagers are off to big school, or going away to even bigger school and you may be wondering what you're going to do with all that spare time on your hands.
How about coming and learning a new craft, making new friends, whilst rediscovering who you are! Maybe you can already craft and you're looking to craft with like minded people, maybe you've tried to find us before and have struggled. This video was taken back in 2022 and our craft room has changed since then, but the directions are still the same.

It's Sunday morning which means it's time to have a look at what we've got coming up this week and as it's also the beginning of a new month tomorrow, we've got lot's of new workshops and courses ready for booking on our website. There's even some going into October.
As tomorrow is a Bank Holiday (Monday 31st August) we'll be open 10:30 - 2:30pm for an Extended free Craft and Chat session.
We've got space on a Tuesday afternoon and Thursday afternoon for anyone who is wanting to learn how to knit or crochet.
Wednesday afternoon Jill is working her magic with the Project Packs. If you've ever neeeded inspiration on what to do with leftover material and embroidery silks, this is the workshop/course for you.
We've also been asking for feedback regarding what Dadesley Crafting CIC means to you and I was recently asked if we wanted feedback for how we could improve things, especially if we hadn't got something right. The answer as always is a big yes. We can't put it right if we don't know we've got it wrong. Please whatever your experience of us is, do let us know. Thank you to everyone who has given us feedback so far. We do ask for feedback so that it can be given to our funders and yes we do pass on the improvement feedback too.

Monday morning we started working on our mixed media projects ( no photos yet). Then in the afternoon we created these beautiful Felt hearts. All hand stitched and decorated individually to each persons taste. We sometimes forget our classes are aimed at beginners when we see what they've made.

If you go into the cafe, go to the end of the counter (past all the amazing cakes and brownies) and turn left, you'll find yourself in the courtyard and you will see our signs over on the righthand side. Of course whilst you're visiting us, you could also turn right at the end of the cafe counter and you will find yourself outside in the gorgeous setting of the walled garden. There's even a garden centre where you can buy plants.
Yorshire Bike Shack ore on site too, you can find them just behind our shop, so if you're looking to buy a bike or donate one they're the group for you.
Today you can visit one site and support three, YES THREE seperate Community Interest Companies. We're all here supporting you, our local community and we'd love to see you.

There's enough here to keep you occupied for the day and we'd love to see you.
