Last week we welcomed the ladies from AIB Dungannon, who delivered a great presentation on fraud and the many ways it can present. We also were given a travel cup and a wealth of information on how to keep ourselves safe in regard to finances. Thanks again Elizabeth and Frances.
This week we have our very own Mary Bullock presenting ‘Mindfulness with Mary’
See you all at 12!

Last week we welcomed Breda and Bernie from Mid Ulster Agewell who shared great information about all the wonderful services they offer. It’s amazing to think of the difference some of these services can make and they are available to anyone over 50!
Tomorrow we welcome representatives from the AIB to advise us on money matters and avoiding scams. See you all at 12!

We had a great visit last week from Orla, an Advanced Nurse Practitioner from the ‘Hospital at Home team’ who gave us a great insight into their roles and excellent service they provide. Thanks again Orla!
Tomorrow we have Agewell NI and Mid Ulster District Council representatives coming to chat so it should be a very informative day! See you all at 12 and remember new faces are always welcome!

Morning all on another glorious day!
Today we have the ‘Hospital at Home’ team coming to tell us about the service they provide. This fabulous team provide an essential service in treating acute illness in the comfort and privacy of your own home. Nurse Aislinn McCaul and team will talk us through their role in the community and give us an insight into the service they provide.
And if anyone’s fancied it we might do a lap of the walkway as well!
See you at 12, all welcome!

Evening all!
Last week we had the return of bingo to the club with prizes donated by The Torrent Complex. Despite early signs that Ann woods would go home with ALL the prizes the luck began to even out and there was a healthy mix of winners! Friday night saw 11 of us head to The Burnavon, Cookstown to see New Ireland by Grimes and McKee. A great night full of laughter!
Tomorrow we welcome another local legend to the club with Seán Faloon of Bardic Theatre fame paying us a visit. All welcome tomorrow at 12!

Another great attendance today and we enjoyed a visit from Matthew McNicholl from Mid Ulster District Council our new walking for all leader. Hopefully with the brighter days coming in we will be able to arrange walks for all different abilities.
Still awaiting confirmation but at the moment it looks like ‘Mary’s slippery balls’ otherwise known as bingo will be making a comeback next week. See you at 12!

So last week we had, as promised, a quiz with fabulous prizes!
Guess what happened, we had a three way draw?!?! 🤣🙈😀
Seriously though I think we can honestly say it was the best laugh we’ve had in a while!
Next week we are delighted to welcome Matthew McNicholl our new Walking for all leader from the Mid Ulster District Council. See you all at 12

Today at the club we welcomed local Actor Conor Grimes! Conor shared stories from his first acting role in the Bardic Theatre a few years ago 😉 and was able to reminisce with our own Eileen Ogle who played Nancy in the production of Oliver where Conor played the role of the artful dodger! We discussed his favourite roles and how proud he is to be an ambassador for Donaghmore( the greatest village ever…)!
Thanks again Conor for a very enjoyable visit!
