Arts Across The Genres presents: Polyphonic: Echoes & Embers
“Through the echoes and the embers, we see glimmers in this space
Through the echoes and the embers, we bring fire to this place
Shine a light on the village that got us to here
All our voices echo the sky now clear”
Echoes & Embers, a powerful, genre-defying performance celebrating nine months of bold new artistic creation from the visionary participants of Arts Across The Genres’ Polyphonic project. This electrifying showcase weaves together live music, movement, dance, and striking visuals in an immersive experience that sparks the senses and stirs the soul.
Rooted in folklore and reimagined for today, the performance explores resilience, diversity, inclusion, feminism, community, and activism- brought to life through fearless creativity and authentic storytelling. At its heart, Echoes & Embers is a celebration of diversity, inclusion, and cross-community connection through the power of the arts.
Entirely co-designed and delivered by the participants themselves, this showcase is shaped by an inspiring cross-community and intergenerational collective made up of the beautifully diverse voices of Belfast, representing every corner of the city. Their collaboration stands as a living expression of unity, creativity, and shared vision.
Supported by experienced artists and leading arts organisations, and grounded in values of peacebuilding, good relations, and shared learning, this is more than a performance- it’s a vibrant declaration of what’s possible when communities come together to create. Don’t miss this unforgettable night of energy, expression, and collective fire!
