The Hive

The Hive A unique hive of activity based in Darlington, Co Durham for Adults with Learning Disabilities. Meaning our service can be personalised to suit attendees.

The Hive is an 'activity centre' for adults with Learning disabilities who require extra support with daily living skills and are unable to find or be in employment. We aim to provide a flexible service, that people can opt in and out of on a weekly basis to suit their needs, wants and wishes. We aim for our activities to be educational, to promote independence and develop life skills, with a little bit of fun thrown in!!

Becky is the life and soul of the party, always up for a good time and makes all those around her at ease! Becky is wonderful at supporting our chaps to gain and maintain life skills, she’s also always great at encouraging an active lifestyle, whether it be supporting the guys swimming, or going walking.
