Open Monday - Friday 9am - 3.30pm Being away from home, even for just a few hours, can be a welcome break.

Dalbeattie Day Centre can provide you with the opportunity to get out of the house and meet new people (or old friends). Day centres can offer you the opportunity to take part in activities, learn new skills and hobbies and have a hot meal. It can also be a break for anyone who helps to look after you when you are at home. If you cannot make it to the Centre, we now offer a Meals on Wheels type se

rvice. Annual membership is ÂŁ20 and is open to those aged 60 or over. District Nurses, Doctors, Footcare and Social Workers, all pay regular visits to the Day Centre. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the Day Centre at the telephone number shown.

Legion Scotland stalwart James Dingwall, saw our recent invitation to our membership to fundraise for Legion Scotland, and he sprung into action.

James has been a member of Legion Scotland since 1974 and is a keen member of the Dalbeattie Branch.

James who is 77 years young, looked at his options for fundraising events and has decided to do a tandem skydive to help raise much needed funds.

James's very supportive daughter, Suzanne, will also be accompanying him on the Tandem skydive to show her support for RBLS.

James and Suzanne both know of the good work the RBLS has done for the veterans community in Scotland and they both want to see us continue to do that for many years to come.

James and Suzanne will both carry our the skydive on either the 25th of July or 1st of August 2026.
