For writers, would-be writers, and anyone interested in talking about the art and craft of writing. Hosted by Jane McBeth, writer and freelance facilitator.

✍️ Writers’ Café - A relaxed open space for anyone who writes or wants to write.

📚 Local History Group. A Friendship Forged in War - talk by John Kirk

🍳 Crafty Cooking for ages 8+ will start up in October. 3rd Wednesday of every month. Places are limited, so please book by email: [email protected]

Thursday 22nd October, 7–9pm FREE
🎶 Music Makers. For ages 12+. A time and place to meet with other young music lovers whatever your skill level - try out our recording equipment, share the music you like, bring a friend, an instrument or two.

New term, new school year and lots of free activities right across the Stewartry from the Council's Youth Works team. We know attending a new group or activity for the first time can feel daunting for some young people. To help make this transition easier, the YouthWorks team are happy to arrange individual visits outside of group times, allowing young people to meet youth workers, become familiar with the venues, and learn more about the activities and support available through their service.
