Cumnock & District Round Table is on the lookout for local legends to help represent their area.

We still warmly welcome new members from all areas of Cumnock and District too, however we are keen to recruit guys from the areas above most importantly.

What do we actually do?
A bit of fundraising, a bit of community work, a lot of laughs… and occasionally standing about pretending we know what we’re doing.

We’re especially needing members from the areas above so we can do more events and support more local causes in your communities.

Benefits may include:

When Catrine Show said “we need help with car parking,” we heard “release the experts” 🚗😎

So naturally, Robert, Jamie, and Jay rolled up this morning—armed with high-vis, top-tier pointing skills, and an uncanny ability to make cars behave themselves.

Thanks to the lads, chaos was avoided, bumpers remained unscathed, and not a single “you can’t park there, mate” argument got out of hand (we think).

All jokes aside, we’re always happy to support local events—because that’s what Round Table is all about.

At Cumnock Round Table, family is at the heart of everything we do. We’re proud to support our community and the people closest to us.

A huge shoutout to Gemma, wife of our very own Robert, who completed the Kiltwalk last weekend—an incredible 23.8 miles! She took on this challenge in support of their daughter Quinn, raising money (or as Quinn says, “pennies”) for Epilepsy Scotland.

As a team, we were delighted to back Gemma through her JustGiving page and support her amazing effort. Not only did she hit her original £350 target—she smashed it, raising an outstanding £633!

Well done, Gemma, from everyone at Cumnock RT 👏

Thanks to the Cumnock Chronicle for their support, it is our pleasure working with the local community and getting recognised at National Scale with our organisation 👀👏

Once again, thank you to everyone who continues to support us throughout the year. Our aim was to keep the Round Table name fresh in everyone’s head and it’s worked 👏👏

We can’t wait for this years season with our 6 new members putting their spin on things 😀😀

🙌 Cumnock and District Round Table has been nominated as the best group in the country thanks to its work within the community.

🫂 Having been around for decades, the group continues to be responsible for some of the area's favourite annual events, and the efforts have not got unnoticed.

Quiz Night Chaos with Farmer Davie!

Last night, Farmer Davie put our brains to the test with a Quiz Night covering general knowledge, farming, sports, entertainment, and nature. The tension was real—mostly over who would get the coveted bottle of The Glenlivet single malt.

Teams battled fiercely, alliances were made (and broken), and there was plenty of heated debate over whether a tomato is a fruit or just a sneaky vegetable.

In the end, Rod, Andrew, and Dane emerged victorious, proving that either they’re secretly geniuses or just really good at guessing. Well done, lads!

🔥 BIG NEWS, CUMNOCK! 🔥

We are beyond buzzing to announce that we’ve been nominated for Table of the Year 2025/2026 by National Round Table Great Britain & Ireland! 🏆🎉

This is HUGE for us, and it’s all down to the incredible community we’re proud to be part of. From getting stuck into local events, to putting on one of Cumnock’s longest-running highlights — the legendary Murray Park Firework Display 💥 — to bringing pure festive magic with our Santa Sleigh Tour 🎅✨… we’ve loved every single minute!

Seeing the smiles as we tour the villages dressed as elves, spreading Christmas cheer, and supporting amazing local groups is what it’s all about ❤️

This nomination isn’t just ours — it belongs to every single person who supports us, volunteers with us, cheers us on, and gets involved. And a massive shoutout to our full team and our brilliant friends at 41 Club 🙌

Last night we took over the Royal Hotel for our AGM—no red carpet, but plenty of good chat and even better company 🍻

We’re buzzing to officially welcome Robert, Ian, Jamie, Quintin and Jay to Cumnock Round Table… they clearly passed the very strict entry requirements (mainly turning up and not running away).

They’re pictured here with our fearless leader Steve (Chairman) and Craig (Vice Chairman… or assistant to the Chairman, depending who you ask).

Chris, who’s been with us since September, sadly couldn’t make it due to work—but don’t worry, we’ve not let him off that easy. He’s still very much part of the crew!

A cracking night all round, with loads of new ideas thrown about for the year ahead—some brilliant, some questionable, all enthusiastically discussed.

Big things ahead for Cumnock Round Table… watch this space 👀

📣 Calling All Men in New Cumnock! 📣

Cumnock & District Round Table is on the lookout for someone from the New Cumnock area to join our team — and right now, we don’t have a single member representing your community!

We’re a group of like-minded men aged 18–45 who believe in a “do more” attitude — supporting our local area while also having a great time socially. Think curry nights 🍛, games nights 🎲, guest speakers 🎤, and plenty of laughs along the way.

We meet twice a month (usually on Thursday evenings), and we’d love to welcome someone from New Cumnock to bring fresh ideas and help represent your area at the table.

Last night our team managed to escape from the room at Game Vault, Kilmarnock in 55 minutes, with 5 minutes to spare! 🧩🔐

Everyone had a great time – it’s a brilliant activity for working together and a bit of team building.

We were also joined by Jay, a new potential recruit for us here at Cumnock Round Table. Great to have you along! 👏

Next up, we’re likely joining our 41 Club friends later in the month for a curry night – and I’m sure a few beers may be consumed too! 🍛🍻
