Believe Ambassador Training coming up!

Our Believe-in-Her Project supports mums at risk of child removal across Cheshire. Our training course provides a comprehensive introduction to a programme aimed at individuals supporting mums and pregnant women with children on a child protection plan.

Delegates will receive essential information and materials, including a facilitators' manual, handout, toolkit, and additional resources. Upon completion, participants will be equipped to serve as a certified Believe Ambassador, utilise the Believe toolkit to aid at-risk women, access resources via the Believe-in-Her website and work effectively with individuals in need of support.

What difference does Believe training make?
Professionals leave with:
✔️ Greater confidence working with complex cases
✔️ Deeper understanding of trauma and lived experience
✔️ Practical tools to support women effectively
✔️ A more compassionate, relationship-based approach

And most important better outcomes for mothers and their children.

We explore the impact of trauma, shame and systemic stress, and how compassion-focused approaches can support understanding, communication and professional practice.

Participants will also gain practical tools to support both families and themselves, helping to reduce shame and promote psychological safety in practice ✨

Believe in Her provides advocacy and support for mums at risk of child removal, helping women feel heard and supported.

By creating safe spaces and reducing stigma, the project supports women through some of the most challenging times in their lives.

In 2025–2026, we have already offered 651 support sessions within our local community 💜

We are thrilled that our short film "The Tide" is being shown at Picture House Chester part of their Cutshorts

Being shown on June 8th we would love for you to join us to watch it.

The Tide is compelling film aimed to raise awareness of the injustices of family court, we want it shared far and wide.

The film has been co-produced by many mums who have experienced first hand how the court has failed them, time and time again.
