Crewe & Nantwich Conservation Volunteers

Crewe & Nantwich Conservation Volunteers We are an environmental volunteering group based in South Cheshire, who undertake practical conservation tasks every other Sunday Who are we? What do we do?

We are Crewe & Nantwich Conservation Volunteers. CNCV is a collection of earth-loving, like-minded people from different walks of life that meet fortnightly on alternate Sundays to complete practical conservation tasks. CNCV is affiliated to The Conservation Volunteers (Formerly the British Trust for Conservation Volunteers). CNCV works in nature reserves and on sites of biological importance. Rec

ent tasks have included; coppicing, pond-clearing, woodland management and counting dormice. We have attempted to conserve endangered species by building otter holts and installing dormouse nesting boxes. We generally have a good time, during which we consume lots of tea and biscuits.
