This is a Wartime Themed event with music taken from the 30’s and 40’s. Period dress is strongly encouraged as we create the right atmosphere on this anniversary date.

Music by Glenn Miller and other wartime period composers performed by the accomplished musicians of the Swinging Woodpeckers and their singers. Hopes & Beams Crewe Krazy Races Update 📣

We are happy to confirm that Hopes & Beams raised over £2500 at the 2026 Crewe Krazy Races, which will go toward our charity's work for senior members of the community as well as children and young people with disabilities / additional needs. 💸

A huge thank you to those who kindly bought items from our charity's stall and kindly donated to our fundraiser. 🙏

As always this would not have been possible without the hard work of our staff and volunteers who helped before and on the day, along with Crewe Engineering & Design UTC who did such a sterling job racing their Jurassic Park kart in support of our charity. 💜

They only went and did it! 🤩🎉
A huge congratulations to team CREWE UTC RACING who yesterday whizzed down the Crewe Krazy Races track where they bagged two trophies! 🏆🏆
The team placed 2nd in the race, in a close contest where they were only 0.15 of a second off the top spot! 😮🥈
A massive THANK YOU to the public who awarded UTC RACING the 'Most Entertaining Team', with them being given a total of 875 votes. 🥇

As always this would not be possible without the incredible students and teachers from Crewe Engineering & Design UTC for their fantastic work creating and building the Jurassic Kart as well as going down the track in the sweltering heat. 🏫🧑‍🔧🦖

We also send a massive THANK YOU to the staff and volunteers who kindly helped Hopes and Beams so much throughout the day and also Crewe Town Council and Krazy Races for making this event possible. 💜
