Scoutadelic was spotted in the wild today whilst collecting supplies for Chamboree 2026.

A great Scouting advocate who I’m sure is a supporter of .

Just a reminder that if you are a part of SWC Scouts within the 18-30 age bracket, you should definitely consider booking onto this event.

This should be a great opportunity to take a break from the hard work we all put into Scouting, whilst still feeling the benefits of being in an amazing movement.

It should turn out to be a great night for all involved, so make sure to book on if interested!

Fireside Fridays is here

If you’re aged 18–30 and part of South West Cheshire Scouts, join us at Milldale on Friday 4th September 2026 for an evening of campfires, BBQ, pizza, music, and relaxed social time with volunteers and members from across the District.

No meetings. No training. Just a chance to unwind, connect, and enjoy a great night together.

You can join us for the evening or camp overnight, with breakfast available on Saturday morning.

The cost of this event is £10 per person.

Everyone will be glad to hear that our latest District Youth Forum was a huge success.

This time we moved our location to Milldale for a day full of amazing discussions, games, and food.

I wanted to particularly thank Alex Stubbs of the SWC social media team, and Helen Dorney from our District Trustee board who is also one of the major contributors to the ongoing Milldale bunkhouse project. Their visit to the Youth Forum brought some extremely valuable insight, and very interesting topics of discussion.

Our Forum discussed a range of topics including:

-SWC social media ideas.
-The design and construction of the Milldale bunkhouse.
-Youth Forum engagement.
-A potential Youth Forum day trip.
-District camp.

And much more.

I hope that as time goes on we can get more and more representation from every group, so as many people as possible get to experience our SWC Youth Forums.

We’ve got some really interesting topics to discuss, so those that aren’t signed up yet make sure to get involved.

I’m really happy about the interest, hopefully we can get more and more of you starting to appear at every Youth Forum.

If anyone has any questions don’t hesitate to email [email protected]
