WOW WOW WOW.

What can I say. Our inaugural mobility friendly litter pick was a humongous success.

Young Rose was our star litter picker.

We had 3 walkers, 2 with walking sticks and a wheelchair user.

All enjoyed it.

This was less about litter picking and more about showing people who feel less able for whatever reason, can come out for a decent walk in the sun and enjoy company and creating new bonds.

Many thanks to Plantaura for hosting our after walk refreshments. Much needed.

Keep watching for more events

Inspired by the fabulous Beryl, we are having an immobility friendly litter pick.

Friday 31st July, 10.30am.
Meeting Crags road. DN12 4EF

This is more about getting those less mobile out and about.

We will have special litter picking trolleys and sarnies and drinks at the Community Allotment afterwards.

If you have mobility issues and wish to come, just drop us a note of pop into Denaby Community Library.

All are welcome regardless of ability.

They're even getting me to do it with my trusty trolley !!!

A hugely successful litter pick last week. Thank you one and all
