Huge thanks to SSP UK - The Food Travel Experts Group & Millie's Cookies Foundation for their recent £1,000 donation to our community partners at Mexborough, Denaby & Conisbrough Foodbank

It was great to see Jayne Lynn, SSP Cluster Manager who visited The Willows Community Centre base in Mexborough recently and pictured below with Foodbank Manager Sean Gibbons presenting the donation.

Sean said “We are extremely grateful for this financial support from the SSP Foundation. Donations such as this are essential to enable us to support local people/families less fortunate in Mexborough, Denaby & Conisbrough during the ongoing Cost of Living Crisis and the challenging period ahead”.

Huge pleasure for our Foodbank Manager Sean Lord Gibbons to join Joe from Your Life Doncaster - South Area at Mexborough Business Centre on Wed 15th Oct for another ‘Community Led Support (CLS) session!

These CLS sessions are held on a regular basis and are open to everyone to attend to find out what local support and services are available to local families/individuals to help improve financial situation and access additional support with personal budgeting, health, tenancy support, family support etc.

We were also available to advise anyone on the services and support available via the foodbank and to offer Information, Advice & Guidance to anyone to help them suffering financial hardship and needing food parcel support by signposting to local community partners who are here and who are accessible offering FREE support and advice.
