🎙️ North Rode Revives Community Spirit!
What an amazing day! The sun shone, engines revved, and the community united beautifully for this year’s North Rode Revival on Station Road, just past Bosley crossroads. Thanks to your generosity and support, we are excited to announce that the event raised over £3,300! Half of the proceeds go to East Cheshire Hospice, with the rest supporting local community projects and charities.
From the moment gates opened, a lively atmosphere filled the air. Music played all day, featuring three live bands that set the perfect mood as visitors enjoyed a showcase of history and community pride.
🚗 Cars, Costumes, and Vintage Charm
The event was a visual delight. Car lovers admired a stunning display of locally owned classic cars, polished to shine and sparking nostalgic conversations. Although the Cheshire Flyers Club hoped to offer flight experiences, gusty winds postponed them to the next day. On the following Sunday, ten flights in fixed- and Flexi-wing aircraft delighted lucky donors flying over our picturesque countryside.
The vintage theme was enhanced by many attendees dressed in period costumes, adding a charming touch of history and glamour.
🍔 Food, Flocks, and Fun
No community event is complete without great food and drink, and the Revival didn't disappoint. Visitors enjoyed:
- Sizzling Nixon's beef burgers from our barbecue.
- Delicious homemade cakes at the stalls.
- Green plants for gardeners at the stalls.
- A fully licensed bar to keep everyone refreshed and celebrating.
🦙 One of the day's highlights was the crowd-favorite Alpacas. Chewiebaca, Elton, Rylan, and the rest of the flock delighted children and adults alike, who enjoyed feeding, chatting, and taking photos.
🙏 A Heartfelt Thank You!
Organising such an event takes effort. A big thank you to the hardworking organisers, volunteers, generous vendors, and most importantly, you—our wonderful community.
Whether you brought a car, baked a cake, bought a drink, or simply enjoyed the event and donated, you made the North Rode Revival a huge success.
The funds raised will support great causes, and the memories created will last a lifetime. Here’s to the next event in 2027! 👏🙏
