If you love singing and dancing Firebirds Theatre is the place to be! Firebirds (formerly Spotlights Glee Club) is an introduction to Musical Theatre, to give kids an idea of what it is like to rehearse for a show with the basic dance and singing styles that they'll need to know. Many of our members have soared in confidence and have gone on to perform in large shows with local and national theatr

e groups. We hold weekly term-time classes every Monday evening at Astbury Village Hall in Congleton.

4-7 year olds at 4.00pm to 4.45pm
8-11 year olds at 4.45pm to 5.30pm

Classes are £6 a week and are paid in subs each term. Keep checking our page for more details!

As you all know, Firebirds will be moving to Biddulph Town Hall from September, why not come and watch one of our upcoming performances by our Seniors to see the venue and support Staged other groups - Tickets are only £5. You can purchase from us at Firebird classes, or on the door too.

The countdown begins... 2 weeks to go until the first of our upcoming performances takes place, have you got your tickets yet? Only £5!! You don't want to miss this!

131 High Street - A time travelling sketch show
Performed by Staged Seniors as part of the Biddulph Festival
'Join Ava and Xavier, a newly wed couple, as they travel through time to discover the hidden history of 131 High Street.'

Tickets available from Biddulph Town Hall reception or on the day (Limited spaces)

This half term we are looking at the wonderful musical of Hairspray.
Wednesday 28th May

Join us for a day of performing arts; explore acting, musical theatre, backstage elements and more!
Limited spaces available, message us to secure your place!
£20 per person.
We will perform a short showcase of what we have been working on when parents collect at the end of the day.

**Firebirds returns **
These next 2 terms will be looking at Wicked – performing 14th July.

4-7 years = 4pm until 4.45pm
8-12 years = 4.45pm until 5.30pm

28th April, 12th May and 19th May. = 3 Weeks
Bank Holidays are: 5th May and 26th May.

Some information in preparation for the Showcase.
Show date will be on 31st March 2025. Show time is 5pm.

As previously, for the show date and the week before we like to join the 2 groups and run 4pm until 5.30pm for all ages. (This is so we can do a dress rehearsal, and they can practice the full showcase together)
