“My inspiration comes from you and your engagement – today and everyday – with our wonderful movement. Our impassioned discussions on our two resolutions today are just one reflection of the collective power we hold and the impact we have in our communities.
So, we will be back together in 2027 in Hull. I look forward to standing here and looking out at you all!” – Jeryl

NRWI - June meeting a small group of us along with visitors from Sutton WI and North Rode village enjoyed a very informative Rioja history and tasting of two white and two red quality wines accompanied with various cheeses. Stuart Pyecroft was extremely knowledgeable about the Rioja region as he had lived there for a number of years after finishing university. The ladies were given handouts with the history of the wines from the area with guidance on what price bracket to purchase for the best quality. Thank you Stuart I can say that all present really enjoyed the evening and presentation and we look forward to welcoming you back next year.

NRWI held their May meeting yesterday afternoon at Eaton Village Hall. The resolutions were discussed and a vote carried to go with Toilet needs - our delegate for the AGM on 4 June is from Mossley WI this year. Following this we were given a talk and demonstration by St. John’s Ambulance volunteers Maria and David on CPR and using a Defibrillator. This was followed by refreshments served by Hilary and Carole who did a great job. Next month’s meeting is in the evening and will be a wine tasting presented by Stuart Pyecroft which I am looking forward to. We are also looking forward to welcoming some visitors from North Rode village.
