Happy Halloween!!!👻🎃🐾🐾 Best I could do 😂

Enjoying brekky after a good nights sleep with Mummy on the sofa & 3 friends keeping me company (the four oldies made the most of having Mums bed to themselves!) I’m in my crate because I’m worried someone might try & pinch my food!!!

He’s been as good as gold today exploring the house whilst I’ve been in clinic working (dw, frequent checks!) He’s had different combos of other dogs with him and as you can see we’re trying the bedroom tonight - cross your paws! 🤞🐾

Bert’s arrived!!!

26/10/2026

So, he’s here! So far quite unsettled, whiney, bit grouchy, very restless - but seriously, he’s 12 and his little world has been upturned for probably some time now!
His foster Mums done a fab job with his weight and skin and now it’s time for him to realise he’s home. No more moves. No more worrying about getting food. Just love. Welcome home Bert. 🤍🐾🐾

Another relaxing Sunday morning lie-in 😅

Angel has wasted no time settling in but apparently doesn’t know her size and thinks sitting on my chest with a paw in my face is perfectly acceptable 👀😂

We’re so excited to pick up Bert tomorrow! Plus just finalising the new CIC bank account so we’ll be able to start fundraising and hopefully help so many more 🥰🐾

Three years.

That’s how long Freya waited for someone to choose her.

Albie has never known life outside a shelter. Dumped with his siblings as a tiny puppy, he’s spent the last two years watching the world go by from behind kennel doors.

And now… this.

A sofa. A garden. A family. Other dogs to show them the ropes. The freedom to simply be dogs.

This is the first 48 hours of their new life. Freya has taken it all in her stride. Calm, gentle and content, as though she somehow knows she’s finally home.

Albie is a little different. The world is big, noisy and sometimes quite scary when you’ve never experienced it before. Every sound, smell and sight is brand new. But considering where he’s come from, he’s doing incredibly well, and we’re so proud of him.

Is rescue always easy? No.

Is it always worth it? Absolutely.

Some dogs need a little time. Some need a lot of patience. But every single one deserves the chance.

If you’ve ever thought about rescuing, please get in touch. There are so many wonderful dogs still waiting for their happy ending. ❤️

The biggest thank you to for making this happen! 🙌🥰👏
