It may be the holiday season but the Village Hall in August is positively buzzing with activities - Creative Art (2), Line Dancing, Badminton Club, Pickleball, Bridge Club, Move It or Lose It (2), Pilates, Martial Arts (2) and Chobham Country Market.

Did you know that this Bonsai show was on and that it was free entry to the public, let me know in the comments below?

I was told that the excess heat makes it very tricky to keep the plants healthy, but wow they were very impressive.

For 138 years, Chobham Village Hall has been at the heart of village life, bringing people together for everything from creative arts, fitness and sports to celebrations, community events and local groups.

If you've never visited the hall, we'd be delighted to show you around. You might be surprised by what's behind the doors of Chobham's oldest community building.

Creative Arts Class at the Village Hall 🎨
I was really impressed by the quality of the artwork produced by the students in our Monday Creative Arts classes. It’s wonderful to see such talent and creativity on display!

Classes run every Monday, with both morning and afternoon sessions. The current 10-week summer course is now fully booked, but there will be another course in Autumn and in Winter and throughout 2027.

🎈 Rain? ☔ Heatwave? ☀️ No problem!
This colourful 5th birthday party moved indoors with just a few days' notice when the weather forecast turned decidedly wet. With 30 children (plus their parents!), there was plenty of space for games, dancing and lots of happy faces – making it a birthday to remember.

If you're planning a garden party but need a weather-proof backup, our village hall offers:

🚗 Plenty of parking

Because British weather doesn't always stick to the plan!
