Come along and join us at the 2026 West End Village Fete!
There's plenty for everyone to see and do on the Recreation Ground by Tringham Hall, starting at 1pm on Saturday 13 June.
The colourful and fun Parade sets off from Fellow Green at 12:30 to arrive at the fete at 1pm. The theme this year is 'Football World Cup', with floats from West End's Scout and Guide groups and school taking part. Follow the music as they march through the village to the fete!
All the traditional stalls and events, including the Croc Smash, Coconut Shy, Beat the Goalie, Punch & Judy, Hook-a-Duck, Bouncy Castles, Tombolas, Plant Sale, Cafe, Ice creams, BBQ and Bar will be there.
There will be singing, dancing and the doggy Musical Sit game in the Arena. And this year, for the first time, we are pleased to welcome Raiders Performing Arts from St John's to entertain us. Give them a good cheer!
Have fun on the Roundabout and Trampoline, play the Buzz game, score some goals in the football-themed games and try your hand at flipping some tyres. Support the Scouts and Guides as they raise funds for their proposed new building on Benner Lane.
Remember to bring your dogs to take part in the Fun Dog Show. There are several classes to enter, and the climax will be the all-action Musical Sit game in the main arena.
This year there are some great commercial stalls. Food stalls will sell wonderful cakes, amazing Italian and Asian food, sweets, candy and slushy drinks. There will be stalls with knitted items, bath and body products, toys, jewellery and gifts, 3D printed items, candles, diffusers, fancy clothing, mugs, handcrafted bracelets, paper crafts and cards, home-made jam, chutney, honey, Herbalife, handcrafted decor, gifts, dog treats and toys, coasters, keyrings, plus much more. Too much to mention! And speak to all the local businesses and charities about their products, services and objectives.
There can’t be a more exciting place than the West End Recreation Ground on Saturday afternoon.
