Happy 16th Birthday, Jordan! 🎂🎉

Jordan celebrated his birthday yesterday, and it was made extra special by the team at Harry Burnicle. They know how much Jordan loves their work, and kindly surprised him with a hi-vis, a hat and a mug. Which he was over the moon with! 🦺☕

A huge thank you to everyone at Harry Burnicle for your kindness and thoughtfulness. We hope you had a wonderful day celebrating, Jordan! 🎈

James enjoyed a fantastic holiday at the Thomas Centre! 🌟

With Clare and Joe by his side, James was busy exploring, with trips to the Yorkshire Wildlife Park, Forbidden Corner and the zoo. Back at the centre, there were many a cosy movie night and homemade pizzas too! 🎬🏰

We hope you all had a brilliant time!

Today we celebrated an incredible milestone: Catherine has completed 40 years working within our education services! 🎉

A true staple of our schools, Catherine was presented with beautiful bouquets of flowers, cards and heartfelt well wishes from children, young people and staff alike. It was a lovely reflection of just how much she means to everyone who has had the pleasure of working with her.

Catherine will be retiring at the end of the year, and we want to say a huge thank you for four decades of dedication, care and commitment. Congratualtions Catherine 💛

Airports can be a lot: the crowds, the announcements, the queues, the unfamiliar routines. For many autistic people and their families, that can make travel feel daunting, and there are plenty of assumptions out there about what it’s really like. 🛫

🦇 Halloween round-up! 👻

What a spooky, fun-filled weekend across our services!

🕺 Our adults’ residential service held a Halloween disco, with plenty of dancing and amazing costumes.
🎃 At Braemar, there was a Halloween themed day and pumpkin carving, with some brilliant creations.
🧙 Belford’s annual Halloween party was also a spell-binding success, with a magical night of fun.

A huge thank you to our amazing teams for conjuring up such a magical weekend. Whatever you got up to, we hope your Halloween was full of treats (and not too many tricks)!
