🛹✨ Have Your Say on Jackson's Recreation Ground and Skatepark improvements ✨🛹

Exciting plans are underway to redevelop Jackson's Recreation Ground — and we want to hear what you think.

Part of Jacksons Field is classified as a scheduled monument which means we're restricted to what we can do in this area. Historic England have advised that we build a separate new facility away from the scheduled monument.
There will be a new facility which will offer more of a street course than the existing skate park.

We're also planning to refurbish the existing skate park.

We want to give a big shoutout to our amazing young people at the skatepark in Cozenton Park yesterday👏

With the bins full and overflowing, they didn’t just walk past, they asked for litter pickers and took the time to clean up the whole area themselves, filling two full black sacks of rubbish in the process. Amazing effort! 💪

It’s great to see them taking real pride in their space and looking after their community 🌱

We know that sometimes people can focus on the negatives, but this shows the reality. our young people do care. They’re respectful, responsible, and willing to make a difference.

Some of the group didn’t want to be photographed, which we fully respect, but their actions absolutely deserve recognition 👏

Well done to everyone involved!! you should be really proud of yourselves 🌟
