Even when I don’t post much on here, I’m always thinking about what I can do to make my bit of Earth a better place. So here is a bird box made from scraps of wood we’ve acquired from different projects. What have you all been up to?

I love this! Which ones have/will you do?

Let's play Sustainable(ish) Christmas bingo!

Christmas is a tricky time of year to make changes - it's easy to feel like a bit of fun sponge at any time of year if you're the one who is constantly gently trying to challenge to status quo of consumption, single use, and waste. And at Christmas it can be even harder with family traditions, family politics, and a general sense that (over) consumption is King (or Queen!).

My invitation with this Sustainable(ish) Christmas bingo card is to have a bit of fun, recognise and celebrate any changes you've already made, and to just have a go at one or two new things.

And then spread a little festive ripple
1) screengrab the card
2) edit:
✅ = already doing
❌ = not for me/not this year
⭕️ or 🌟 = I'm going to have a go at this year
3) Share on your own socials and invite others to join in!

Such fun! 🤩🤣

Comment 'BINGO!' below if you're in 🙌
And do tag me in your shared bingo cards!

What are your top tips for keeping warm as the weather gets colder? I am very aware that, as well as wanting to reduce the use of fossil fuels for heating, many people can’t afford to have it on. What have you done that makes a difference? Are there any brands of clothing/winterwear people could look out for second hand? Any particular fabrics? The Rochester Eco Hub Gillingham Eco-Hub Kent The Rainham Eco Hub maybe we could do a collaboration for this?

This looks exciting!
