Location
The lookout is over water at all states of tide. It is located on the SW corner of Canvey Island, Essex. The lookout is a wooden watch station, painted dark blue and located at the end of the PLA jetty in Holehaven Creek. It has a flagstaff. There is a security gate at the point of entry to the jetty. Canvey Island is approx 3m below sea level.
